It was a spectacular end to the 2025-2026 season of SAMREF Recreation Center academies where employees’ children were offered the chance to enhance their sports skills and strengthen their positive behaviors through both football and karate programs in an exciting and energizing environment.

SAMREF organized a 2-day first aid course with active participation of 50 employees from different departments across the organization.
The course was in collaboration with the RCMC, aiming to enhance the participants’ knowledge and skills on how to deal with medical emergencies in order to be able to provide Best Practices-based first aid and to ensure their preparedness while fostering safety awareness at workplace.
This life-saving initiative is part of SAMREF’s continuous efforts to develop employees’ capabilities and ensure a safe work environment by enhancing overall readiness to respond effectively to incidents and emergencies.
We take pride in SAMREF for receiving the Saudi Aramco 2026 CEO’s Affiliate Excellence Award for Best Performance in the Safety Improvement category.
This recognition reflects SAMREF’s excellent performance as well as unwavering commitment to implementing the highest safety standards. It also highlights the dedication and collective efforts of SAMREF employees to achieve exceptional levels of operational performance.
The award was presented as part of Saudi Aramco’s annual recognition program for its local and international affiliates.
As a strategic sponsor, SAMREF actively participated in the 1st Employment Forum and Career Fair organized by Taibah University, bringing together a number of government agencies and recruitment entities that showcased potential opportunities in order to enable undergraduates and fresh graduates to explore their future careers.
During the forum, SAMREF was presented a trophy by HRH/ Prince Salman bin Sultan, Prince of Madinah region, recognizing its active participation as a strategic sponsor and continuous contributions to such national initiatives to support the qualification of national talents and help them get ready to involve in national development journey.
In addition, SAMREF was also honored by the visit of HRH/ Prince Salman bin Sultan to its pavilion at the associated exhibition where he commended SAMREF’s initiatives and plans for qualification and development of national talents.
As part of the strategic partnership with Yanbu Municipality, SAMREF contributed to the “Yanbu Green” initiative by planting 225K trees over the last three years, aiming to support the Saudi Green Initiative (SGI) with unyielding commitment to the national goals of environmental sustainability.
In phase one, SAMREF commenced the initiative by planting 150K trees. Then, 25K trees were planted in phase two. This year, efforts made to coincide with the Saudi Environment Week-2026 by planting 50K trees.
Mature trees are expected to tangibly mitigate carbon emissions in the future, transforming landscape, enhancing quality of life, protecting ecosystem and advancing sustainability nationwide.
Commemorating the Saudi Environment Week-2026 with the theme “Your Impact is Green”, SAMREF President & CEO, Mr. Mohammed M. Farsi along with the executive team took part in a groundbreaking ceremony held in association with Yanbu Municipality at Yanbu Historic area. During the event, some canopy threes were planted, shaping the path to a greener and comfortable future of the area.

During the visit, Mr. Matt was given a field tour showcasing the Company’s cutting-edge operational capabilities, along with highlights of Samref’s future growth projects and strategic expansion plans.
